In memory / of / Eliza Jane, / daughter of / James and Mary MASON, / who departed this life December 23rd 1857, / aged 9 years. / Ere sin could blight or sorrow fade, / death comes with friendly care; / the opening bud to heaven convey;d / and bade it blofsom there. / Also off / Henry, son of the above / who was lost at sea on board of the / ship Owen Potter in the year 1858, / aged 18 years. / Also of Edward, their son, / born September 5th 1837, / died February 25th 1859. / Also Mary Ann, wife of the above / who died January 3rd 1868, aged 59 years. / James MASON, / who died April 22nd 1875, aged 68 years. / Deeply regretted. / Also James, eldest son of the above, / died March 20th 1909, aged 74 years.
