In memory of / William RUSSELL, / of Liverpool and New Orleans, / who entered into rest June 13th 1886 / aged 38 years. / *I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.* / Joshua.1.5. / This stone / was erected by a few old friends / as a token of their esteem and / affectionate regard.
